Osorno

Osorno

Osorno is a literary-prose project that explores vulnerability, authenticity, and personal transformation. It approaches the tensions between illness and creativity and develops new narratives that can exist beyond ableist norms.

The project is conceived as a fragmentary travel diary. Through sketches, observations, and reflections from Santiago de Chile, Mexico City, Athens, Palermo, Borneo, as well as Brandenburg and Berlin, a web of memories, snapshots, and theoretical notes emerges. Personal experiences and interpersonal relations resonate with broader social questions. In a noisy time, the author attempts to create delicate sketches of everyday life.

At the same time, the project contributes to a cultural practice that negotiates anti-ableism, care, and corporeality as central categories of artistic work. This also includes research into digitality and social media, for example through the development of the Instagram channel @sickkidneykash, where the notion of community is consciously mobilized and reflected upon as part of the project's artistic and discursive framework.
